settled: safe and secure
One year on and so much has happened. Each day has required taking a step and then the next and seeing things unfold with each new day.
Each day has been filled with signs of the divine. Signs of gold nuggets and sometime gold dust, amid the rubble of building.
Like with Nehemiah, building takes sweat, blood and gore.
But God has faithfully fought every battle and won on each front.
Yes, God has been faithful. He has shielded, strengthened, supplied, and sown faith, hope and love. He has given joy and the will to keep getting up, going and forging ahead. He has carried when it was difficult to walk, or sometimes talk.
But, He has given joy for the journey. And peace to remain.
an authentic life
I have been privileged to see most of Scotland:
Inverness, Helensburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Hamilton, Bellshill, Edinburgh, Kelso, Town Yetholm, Ellon, Newburgh, Collieston, Inverurie, Aberdeen and Isle of Lewis in the Hebrides.
It was a time permitted and given to walk the land and visit different towns and villages, to rest and recover from life events, to review, realign and remember old commitments, and to recommit to the original plan.

At each place I have met amazing people and seen amazing things.
I have learnt, laughed, and loved... the authentic life and lifestyle of the Scots, the landscape, the scenery, and the natural rugged beauty of the land.
Scotland has become home and homey. It is where I am loved. And, I love being home in Scotland. It has become my sweet spot.
Thank God for my new church family and friends who have sat with me, walked with me, and believed for me when the going got tough, till I have got back on my feet and into the fight again. God alone knows the implications.

And, for those who prayed, I can assure you it has been much needed. And, it has been answered many times. Prayer has become like breathing. It has become a safe and secure resting place. A well-used cloak… trusted and true.
